Eminem, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Big Boi Heading to Bonnaroo

Other hip-hop acts heading to Bonnaroo 2011, now in its 10th year, include Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa, Atmosphere and J. Cole. Last year, Jay-Z was the second hip-hop act, following the Beastie Boys in 2009, to headline the fest. Since it's inception in 2001, Bonnaroo, which started as a predominately jam band-heavy festival has become one of the most diverse music festivals in the U.S.
Other performers for 2011 include Robert Plant & Band of Joy, Mumford & Sons, the Strokes, the Decemberists, Ray Lamontagne, Bassnectar, Iron & Wine, Girl Talk, Primus, Dr. John and the Original Meters, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Pretty Lights, Florence + the Machine, Explosions in the Sky, STS9, Gogol Bordello, Beirut, Scissor Sisters, Gregg Allman, Ratatat, Robyn, Warren Haynes Band, Deerhunter, Old Crow Medicine Show, Bootsy Collins & the Funk University, Matt & Kim, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, The Del McCoury Band & the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Mavis Staples, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Chiddy Bang, Jovanotti, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, Loretta Lynn, Cold War Kids, The Walkmen, Wanda Jackson, Neon Trees, Sleigh Bells, Amos Lee, Best Coast, Dãm-Funk & Master Blazter, The Sword, The Drums, The Black Angels, School of Seven Bells, Nicole Atkins & the Black Sea, Wavves, !!! and more.
The 2011 Bonnaroo Music Festival will take place June 9-12 in Manchester, Tenn., 60 miles south of Nashville. More artists will be added to the four-day festival, that will max out with more than 125 bands playing across 13 stages. Tickets go on sale beginning this Saturday, Feb. 19 at noon through Bonnaroo.com.
